Founders and Funders: How Pokemon Go Started

“People engage with Pokemons more than with Facebook. That makes it an anomaly, and, possibly, the next big thing. And this growth is only based on 8 countries where the app launched so far. How can anything grow this fast?”

Upworthy: History has its eyes on you, Mike Pence

“Vice President-elect Pence, we welcome you, and we truly thank you for joining us here at ‘Hamilton: An American Musical,’ we really do. We, sir, we are the diverse America who are alarmed and anxious that your new administration will not protect us — our planet, our children, our parents — or defend us and uphold our inalienable rights, sir. But we truly hope that this show has inspired you to uphold our American values and to work on behalf of all of us. All of us. Again we truly thank you for sharing this show, this wonderful American story told by a diverse group of men and women of different colors, creeds, and orientations.”

Thinking Good: Kayne West and The Birth of a Creation

“As with gumbo, or any dish meant to simmer, at some point the mélange of ingredients become something different, but not necessarily a new creation. This takes time. The longer the items – celery, carrots and onions, or thoughts, creative and critical—are able to sit with each other the fuller the flavor develops. Time and mindful cultivation enriches adds depth and texture.”

Looking past Election 2016, one father looks beyond the horizon and speaks through the chatter to expresses his hopes and fears for our children and country.

“I am charged with nurturing my sons into emotionally mature, intellectually curious and self-confident men … [in a country] their potential is only limited by their imagination and ability to make it a reality.”
